In Pakistan, women are significantly deprived of their right to education, with over half of girls having limited access to schools. Socioeconomic and cultural factors make it difficult for girls to attend school, and there is a mistaken belief that education is unnecessary for women. To raise awareness of this issue, a group of schoolgirls who were illiterate three years prior took over leading Pakistani news channels to share their stories and emphasize the importance of education. They aimed to convince parents to give their daughters the opportunity of education.
